Privacy Policy
What Possible collects, why, and what you can ask us to do about it.

Who we are
Possible Club (“Possible”, “we”, “us”) runs the Possible goal-tracking service at possibleclub.com and in the Possible app. This policy covers both.
For anything in this policy, write to founder@possibleclub.com.
What we collect
- Account details — the name and email address used to sign in, and a phone number if one is added.
- A child’s profile — name, date of birth, sex if given, school, class and interests. The date of birth is what matches goals and the growth reference to the child’s age.
- Activity — goals, daily check-ins, points, streaks, reading and journal entries.
- Health information you choose to add — height, weight, vaccination and check-up records, and any photographs or documents uploaded to the health section.
- School information, where a school uses Possible — the classes and staff linked to a student.
- Linked services — if a chess.com username is connected, we read the public game and rating data for it.
- Technical data — IP address, browser or device type, and server logs kept for security and troubleshooting.
Why we collect it
- To run the service and keep a child’s record together in one place.
- To match recommendations, reference charts and reading to a child’s age.
- To show progress to the child and to the adults linked to them.
- To keep accounts secure, including sending sign-in codes.
- To send service messages, and reminders that have been asked for.
- To understand how Possible is used so it can be improved.
We do not use any of this to build advertising profiles, and we do not show advertising to children.
Children, and consent from a parent or guardian
Possible is used by children, but an account for a child is created or approved by a parent, guardian or school. By creating or approving one, you confirm that you are that child’s parent or guardian, or that you act with their permission, and you consent on the child’s behalf to what is described here.
A parent, guardian or school may see, correct or ask us to delete a child’s information at any time. We do not sell a child’s information, use it for behavioural advertising, or profile children for marketing.
Who we share it with
- Providers that help run Possible — hosting, email delivery, error reporting and similar — which handle information on our instructions and for no other purpose.
- A school, where a school account is linked to a student: staff at that school see that student’s goals and progress, and so do the student’s parents.
- People you link yourself — a parent, teacher, coach or doctor connected to a child sees what that role allows.
- Where the law requires it, or where it is needed to protect a child’s safety or the security of the service.
- If the service or the business is transferred to another organisation, with this policy continuing to apply to information transferred with it.
We do not sell personal information.
Where it is kept
Possible is hosted in India. Some of the providers we use may store or process information in other countries; where that happens we take reasonable steps to see that it is protected to a comparable standard.
How long we keep it
We keep information for as long as an account is in use, and for a reasonable period afterwards so that an account can be recovered and so that we can meet legal and accounting obligations. Backups run on a rolling cycle and are overwritten in the ordinary course.
Your choices
- See and correct most information directly in the app, under the child’s profile.
- Ask for information to be deleted — see the data deletion page.
- Withdraw consent, which means closing the account.
- Ask what we hold about you or a child in your care.
Write to founder@possibleclub.com and we will deal with it.
Security
Connections to Possible are encrypted, access is limited to the people who need it, and backups are encrypted before they leave our servers. No service can promise perfect security, but if something happens that puts your information at risk we will tell those affected and do what the law requires.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Possible changes. The date at the top shows when it was last changed, and we will give notice in the app or by email where a change materially affects you.
Write to founder@possibleclub.com and a person will answer.
