Deleting your data
How to have an account, or a child’s record, removed from Possible.
Possible Club · Last updated 28 October 2026
How to ask
Write to founder@possibleclub.com from the email address on the account, and say whether you want the whole account removed or only one child’s record. For a child, write from the parent or guardian address linked to that child.
We may ask one question to confirm the request really comes from the account holder, because deleting a record cannot be undone.
What is removed
- The profile — name, date of birth, school, class and interests.
- Goals, daily check-ins, points, streaks, journal and reading history.
- Health records and any photographs or documents uploaded to the health section.
- Report cards and certificates added to the student record.
- Links to parents, teachers, coaches and doctors, and to any connected service such as chess.com.
We generally complete this within 30 days of confirming the request, and will tell you when it is done.
What stays, and for how long
- Anything we are required to keep by law, for as long as the law requires it.
- Encrypted backups, until they are overwritten in the ordinary rolling cycle.
- Information that no longer identifies anyone, such as counts used to understand how Possible is used.
If a school set up the account
A school can ask us to remove a student’s record, and so can that student’s parent or guardian. Removing a student from a school does not by itself delete their record — ask for deletion if that is what you want.
Closing without deleting
If you would rather stop using Possible but keep the history in case a child returns to it, say so and we will disable the account instead. Say the word later and we will delete it.
Write to founder@possibleclub.com and a person will answer.
